Week in Review: the week I tried to enter a bunch of races…
I was tired on Monday so I opted just for yoga and no bike (maybe next week?). The extra sleep was much-needed.
Monday was also the day our htc applications were due for the NUUN blogging team. About a week earlier I’d decided I wanted to enter, but the weekend got away from me and I figured I was too late.

I managed and easy 6 on Tuesday and was set for my return to the track… yeah I know. I also entered this little race… but am waiting to find out if I got in. Geez lots of waiting!
I hope I get in… I want another one of these…
Wednesday’s workout was 2 x 15 minutes of fartlek with a 4 minute recovery. We then got to jog for 15 minutes and run 6 x a hill (about 300m). Welcome back. I could barely run home. Thursday I ran the slowest 5 miles of my life and I’m not exaggerating.
I was feeling better by Friday and managed and easy 8 followed by and easy 6 on Saturday.
And then yes… another race day on Sunday!
